WHAT WILL THE INTERIOR RENOVATIONS COST?
The cost for interior renovations is approximately $700,000 and includes the West Wing renovation, matching carpeting and shelving in the East Wing, and a complete renovation of the entryway.
WHAT WILL THE NEW OUTDOOR SPACES COST?
The cost for outdoor renovations is approximately $1,000,000, with $520,000 for green spaces surrounding the building and $480,000 for the permeable parking lot.
HOW WILL ANNUAL COSTS BE COVERED, ESPECIALLY THE OUTDOOR MAINTENANCE?
The new outdoor spaces are designed to be much more easily maintained. The annual cost of upkeep, beyond mowing and mulching, is estimated by Marek Landscaping to be $3,000 and will be covered by the Ripon Public Library Fund.
WHEN WILL THE NEW SPACES BE AVAILABLE, PRESUMING THE CAMPAIGN IS SUCCESSFUL?
The goal is to complete the interior renovations by May 2024 and the outdoor spaces by Fall 2024.
HOW WILL DONORS BE RECOGNIZED?
Naming opportunities are available for select interior and outdoor spaces. All gifts will be recognized in a prominent place in the library and gifts of $25,000 and higher will additionally be recognized at the location of the space. While we feel strongly that support at all levels should be publicly acknowledged, anonymity will be strictly respected if requested.
