ALL AGES EXPLORE EDUCATIONAL DISCOVERY STATIONS WITH SCIENTISTS FROM THE GLA!

1 – ENVIROSCAPE : Explore our watershed like never before at the Libraries Love Lakes event! Witness the journey of water over landscapes using a hands-on, 3D interactive model, while learning practical ways to prevent pollution. Dive in, have fun, and gain a new understanding of our watershed in this engaging and accessible session.

2 – AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES : Aquatic Invasive Species Exploration Station: Join us to uncover the aquatic invasive species posing a threat to Wisconsin’s waters through a game sure to make you laugh! This station will equip you with essential knowledge to stop the spread of aquatic invasive species, ensuring we can enjoy our waters for generations to come.

3 – WATER QUALITY MONITORING : Unleash your inner scientist with the Green Lake Association! Learn about vital water quality principles and monitoring strategies. At this station you’ll get hands-on experience sorting and identifying macroinvertebrates directly from Silver Creek and be guided through the process of stream monitoring.

4 – READ WITH A SCIENTIST BOOK NOOK : Enjoy GLA recommended books and more.
