Set in 19th-century Eureka, Wisconsin, this movie is a heartwarming and poignant tale that will both tug at your heartstrings and fill you with hope. The story follows the Douglas family, Scottish immigrants who have come to America in search of a better life. Settling in a bustling logging camp, the parents, Robert and Mamie, work tirelessly to provide for their six children. Tragedy strikes when both parents fall ill and perish. The oldest boy, Robbie, must find homes for his siblings right before Christmas.
