Local Art Showcase Saturday, March 14, 1-5 PM

Little White School House 1074 W Fond Du Lac St, Ripon

Ripon Public Library is presenting a Local Art Showcase following the conclusion of The Great Awakening: Painters of America series at Ripon College’s Lane Library on Thursdays at 6:00 PM  February 12th through March 12th.

Entry form:

 

Showcase Date and Time:

  • Open house will be on March 14th from 1-5 PM
  • Refreshments will be served

Suggested Themes:

  • What America means to me or my life as a local
  • Other works will be considered

Requirements:

  • One (1) art piece submission per person
  • An intake form and digital image of artwork submitted separately must be received on or before March 1st 2026 to be eligible for display
  • Title and description of artwork
  • To be fair to all artists, no artwork in the showcase may exceed 48” in any direction
  • Artwork must be appropriate to be seen by all ages

Exclusions:

  • Any work that is or could be construed as offensive by way of race, creed, gender, religion, or is otherwise inappropriate for an art display open to all ages will be excluded from the exhibition.
  • No depictions of nudity permitted

Drop Off and Pick Up of Works Selected for Display:

  • Drop off and pick up will be at The Little White School House 1074 W Fond Du Lac St, Ripon, WI 54971  
  • The Little White School House will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday, March 13th for artwork to be delivered. Artwork must be delivered to this building by 5:00 PM on March 13th.
  • Artwork must be delivered ready to display.  Ex.) 2-D works must be framed and ready for hanging, sculptures with any required supports provided, etc.
  • Artwork may be picked up after the show on March 14th or on Monday, March 16 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
  • Artwork not retrieved by the artist within one week of the showcase closing will be considered abandoned, and the library may choose to dispose of it.

Sale of Works on Display:

  • Artwork displayed at Little White School House is not for sale. 

Assumption of Risk:

  • Artwork will not be insured; exhibit at your own risk. While precautions will be taken whenever possible, the Ripon Public Library and Little White School House assume no responsibility for any damage work may sustain during transit, storage, or display.
  • By completing the Local Art Showcase entry form and exhibiting your work, you also grant permission for your work to be photographed by Ripon Public Library and for those photos to be edited, altered, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed for any lawful purpose. These photos may also be used in any and all future publications produced by Ripon Public Library, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration.
  • By completing the Local Art Showcase entry form and exhibiting your work, you agree that you have read and abide by all above statements.
