The Ripon Public Library in Ripon, Wisconsin (population: 7,792) is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Adult Services Librarian. Responsibilities include adult and young adult collection development and programming, and promotion of library services to the community. Flexible schedule consists of occasional nights and weekends, including Sundays. ALA-accredited Master’s degree in Library Science or equivalent required. Recent graduates encouraged to apply. Proficiency with computers and strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary. Starting 2023 salary $49,139 plus excellent benefits. Ripon is the home of Ripon College and Alliance Laundry Systems. The 28,000 square foot library is a member of the Winnefox Library System and is a participant in the Winnefox Automated Library Service shared SIRSI automation system. An annual budget of $658,000 is supplemented by funds from a Friends of the Library organization and an endowment fund. The library is open 63 hours per week and has a staff of 7.6 FTE.
