PLEASE NOTE: Effective December 1st, hoopla selections for our patrons have been limited to titles at the $1.99 and below price per checkout, as the Friends of the Library’s hoopla budget is nearly depleted (fiscal year ending in March). Hoopla is funded entirely by the Friends of the Library and, at the previous 5 checkouts per month limit, increased usage has made the service financially unsustainable. We expect current hoopla funding to last through the end of 2024, at which time the service may be suspended entirely.

Download the app on your iOS, Android, or Kindle Fire device, add the channel to your streaming media player (Roku, Chromecast, Alexa), or visit the hoopla website on your PC or Mac. Create an account, then add your library card & PIN. Ripon patrons can check out up to 5 titles per month from hoopla’s vast array of movies, TV, music, eBooks, and audio books. During the month of May, hoopla is also offering 600+ titles as part of their “Bonus Borrows” promotion, which do not count against your monthly checkout limits!

Don’t have high-speed Internet at home? You can download content to your phone or tablet to watch at home later (all other devices require an active Internet connection).
