WALK N STROLL FITNESS FUN! | TUESDAYS JUNE 17 – JULY 22 | 10 AM
Join Callista Wesner, M.S. Exercise Science, and Baby Hans for an outdoor, group fitness adventure designed to meet the needs of caregivers, accompanied by their babies and preschoolers!
Program Highlights
- Walk & Stroll Outings: Each session features a half-mile to mile-long walk on the beautiful Northwest Trail adjacent to the library interspersed with engaging “fitness pit stops”. Each stop features simple exercises that require no additional equipment or prior experience.
- Family-Friendly: The program is tailored to accommodate multiple children per caregiver, making it easy for families to participate together. It’s a fantastic way to get everyone moving and active.
- Convenient Waiver Process: Participants are required to fill out a liability waiver before joining the sessions. Waivers can be picked up at the library or downloaded from the library’s website. LIABILITY WAIVER
- Bring Your Wheels & Water: Families are encouraged to bring strollers or other wheeled devices for their little ones to ensure everyone can join in the fun comfortably. Bring your own water bottles and stay hydrated!
- Super Snack Time!: After Walk & Stroll stay to relax with a healthy snack and enjoy an opportunity to socialize and make new friends.
BYO blanket to enjoy a picnic style snack time outdoors or gather indoors in the library’s Romper Room.
