Lead the Ripon Public Library into a Bold New Chapter!

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for community engagement and exceptional library service? The Ripon Public Library is on the brink of an exciting transformation—with a major renovation on the horizon—and we’re looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking Library Director to help shape this next chapter.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead our innovative team through a once-in-a-generation library renovation, expanding and reimagining how we serve our vibrant community. You’ll manage library operations, oversee capital projects and budgeting, and be a key ambassador at community events—building meaningful partnerships and bringing our bold vision to life. We’re seeking someone with a Master of Library and Information Sciences, a Grade 1 Wisconsin Library Certificate (or eligibility), and a deep enthusiasm for the future of library leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master of Library and Information Sciences.
  • Certification: Eligible for a Grade 1 Wisconsin Library Certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years in library management or a related field, including supervisory experience.

Salary: Starting salary range: $75,000 – $85,000 (depending on qualifications)
