Frequently Asked Questions
You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers. Below are some of the most common questions we get about the library and related services.
Our library is located at 120 Jefferson Street, cleverly hidden behind the police station/city hall building. Need more help? Get driving directions.
You will need identification – either a driver’s license or other state-issued ID – and proof of your current address, if different from that on your identification.
Yes, we do! Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Wireless users are still subject to our Internet and computer use policy, and devices may be blocked if they are misusing the service.
Printing is available from our public computer stations or directly from your mobile device at a cost of $.15 per page.
If you have a valid card from any other Winnefox library, it will work here. (Please note that Fond du Lac is not currently part of the Winnefox Automated Library Services system, although North Fond du Lac is.)
The Fond du Lac library is not part of Winnefox, so we cannot check in items from that library, nor can Fond du Lac check in any items from other Winnefox libraries.
The library carries current-year tax forms as they arrive – usually in January of each year. They are available while supplies last but, if we run out or don’t have a form you require, staff can print most forms for you. For more information visit our tax form info page.
We do have a notary on staff, subject to schedule availability. Notary services are also available at City Hall and most banks.
The library does not offer laminating services, but you might try Grant Pack & Ship, Ripon Drug/Ben Franklin, or Imagineers.
Please note: the library does not receive incoming faxes.
By default, we set your PIN to the last four digits of your phone number. If this doesn’t work or you would like to change it, library staff can do this for you.
