Lantern Walk
Celebrate Kindness Lantern Walk | Saturday November 12 @ 5:30-7:00 PM | All Ages Event
Come, “Be the Light” at this celebration of community, kindness, and the human spirit!
Enjoy a campfire, cookies, warm beverages, a lantern-lit walk on the Northwest Trail, and an amazing glow-in-the-dark rock art project with artist Carissa Sorensen. (Many thanks to Integrity Lawn Service and Supply for donating the rocks!)
Get Ready! Beginning November 1 Carissa’s original “Be the Light” artwork will fill one window in the library’s front entry. Visitors are invited to post inspirational messages here before and during the event. This an opportunity to celebrate Ripon and the good no matter how small the gesture.
Inclement Weather Plan Rain or a windchill factored temperature at or below 20 degrees Fahrenheit will force the event indoors. As the day approaches please check for updates on our website or social media platforms.
