JUNE 25 Nature is Art
Today’s story “Daniel finds a Poem,” by Micha Archer celebrates childlike play and discovery. Embrace the beauty of the world through sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste while exploring outdoors. Bring your discoveries to the art table to create a personal project in any art form with a variety of additional supplies.
JULY 9 Ice Cream Science
Featuring the rollicking Groovy Joe: Ice Cream & Dinosaurs by James Dean and Eric Litwin, today’s event will have everyone singing, tapping their toes, and eating ice cream! Mix up your own serving of ice cream and select from a rainbow of fresh fruit toppings. Yummy, colorful fun.
JULY 16 Storytelling for All!
Storytelling, one of the oldest forms of human entertainment, connects us to one another historically, and culturally. It builds language skills, empathy, and fosters creativity. Plus it’s fun and EVERYONE can do it! Enjoy a performance of interactive tales that will have all ages laughing, singing, and acting. Create memory bracelets and finger puppets for retellings at home.
JULY 23 Micah Sommersmith Music
Micah plays the accordion and sings familiar tunes, as well as original pieces, masterfully engaging kids in song, dance, and thought games. As a father of three, his humor hits the mark with kids every time!
